Chair of the LSB
As part of a Multi-Academy Trust, the LSB is a Committee of the SGS Academy Trust Board of Trustees.
SGS Forest High School has high expectations for all, we are a committed Local School Board who both support and challenge the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team through the monitoring of quality assurance activities and engagement with stakeholders of the school.
Students are our number one priority and all staff, local school board members and trustees work together with a common aim of providing a safe and vibrant learning environment in which all learners can reach their potential and have a positive time at school.
Do you want to make a difference in the lives of young people?

The Trust Board of SGSAT believe it is important that Board reflect the diversity of the school communities they serve. Diverse boards promote inclusive school environments and provide diverse role models for staff and young people.
The SGSAT Trust Board are currently collecting data on the diversity of the board, including data on age, gender and ethnicity. They will use that data to inform their recruitment and training needs and ensure there is always a diverse range of perspectives around the table to support robust decision making.
Due to our relatively small governing bodies we do not publish this diversity data online as individual governors could be identified and we have a legal obligation to protect their personal data.
