Year 6 Pupils Explore Engineering and Technology at Berkeley Green UTC

During their visit, students took part in a hands‑on engineering session where they discovered how engineers shape the world around us and explored the wide range of future careers available within the industry. They then moved into a programming workshop, developing their Python skills through creative problem‑solving challenges.

The day also included interactive robotics activities, with pupils using Pheros to take on ten‑pin bowling and maze‑solving tasks. One of the highlights was a lively game of robot Quidditch, which encouraged teamwork, strategic thinking and plenty of enthusiasm.

We were thrilled to see such curiosity and engagement from all pupils, and we look forward to welcoming many of them back in the future.
