Our Year 6 students had a fantastic time during their transition days at Forest High this week, giving them a taste of life as secondary students and helping them prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
Monday was packed with a variety of activities, including team-building challenges where pupils worked together to create spaghetti and marshmallow towers. They also enjoyed Music and Art lessons, as well as opportunities to experience English and Maths classes.
Tuesday saw the children taking part in Science, PE and Humanities lessons. One of the highlights was a fascinating History activity, where pupils explored aspects of the past through hands-on learning and discussion.
Throughout the two days, the students demonstrated excellent enthusiasm, teamwork and resilience. We are incredibly proud of how they embraced new experiences, met new teachers and classmates, and approached every challenge with confidence.
Well done, Year 6, we hope you enjoyed your transition days and are looking forward to the next exciting chapter of your education! 🎓⭐
