SGS Forest High School has an exciting opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to join the school. Reporting to the Deputy Headteacher, we are seeking someone who is focused on building positive and supportive relationships with students and colleagues. You will provide structured supervision for classes in the absence of the subject teacher.

Actual Salary Range: £22,134 – £28,794 pro rata per annum

*Based on Contract Type & Hours

(Salary is dependent on level of qualification and experience)

Term Time Only Contracts will occur a salary adjustment if the start date is after 1st September

Contract Type: Permanent and Full-Time

Hours: 36.50 hours per week (Term Time Only)

Forest High School is situated in Cinderford, Forest of Dean.  Forest High School has engaged with some of the best learning providers in the county to establish a rich, extensive curriculum and to support classroom teaching.   The School is small, intimate and student focused.

SGS Forest High School has an exciting opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to join the school.  Reporting to the Deputy Headteacher, we are seeking someone who is focused on building positive and supportive relationships with students and colleagues.  You will provide structured supervision for classes in the absence of the subject teacher.

The successful candidate will be a calm and confident person who is able to challenge young people to work hard in a constructive manner. You will have a desire to broaden your knowledge and skills. We are particularly interested in recruiting someone with a languages background, although not essential, and/or someone willing to complete TEFL training. There is a possibility of a deputy head of house position for a strong candidate.
