Full Time Equivalent Salary Range: Up to SCP 31, £28,794.00 pro rata per annum

Actual Salary Range: Up to £28,190.43 per annum

*Based on Contract Type & Hours

(Salary is dependent on level of qualification and experience)

Term Time Only Contracts will occur a salary adjustment if the start date is after 1st September

Contract Type: Fixed term, Term time only, Full time

Hours: 37 hours per week / 44 weeks per year

 

Opened in 2017, SGS Berkeley Green UTC is a small, specialist technology college helping young people realise their future ambitions to work in a STEM-related field.  Our students, aged 14 – 19, specialise in either engineering, digital technologies or cyber-security, and enjoy a curriculum that has employability at its very heart.

Based near the Gloucestershire town of Berkeley, on the beautiful banks of the River Severn, students have access to state-of-the art, industry-standard facilities and equipment.  Our teachers are experts in their disciplines and we work closely with our employer and university partners.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team.  We are looking to recruit a dynamic and effective colleague who will:

  1. Develop relationships with industry partners to support all aspects of the curriculum
  2. Lead our progression and careers provision
  3. Co-ordinate programmes to help students realise future career ambitions
  4. Be responsible for organising events, managing projects and contributing to curriculum delivery
  5. Co-ordinate our work-experience programme

You will be a team player; well-organised and highly motivated; confident, articulate, with strong presentation skills; and passionate about improving the life chances of young people.  You are likely to have a background in CEIAG, education or in a STEM-related industry.
