Exam Invigilator

Salary: £11.91 per hour

 

Contract Term: Zero hours and Permanent          To start: May 2022

 

Contract Type: Approximately 25.5 hours per week during exam season*

 

*Please note that examination timetables vary from day-to-day and from week-to-week so invigilation requirements vary commensurately.

SGS Berkeley Green UTC opened in September 2017 with outstanding facilities, in a state-of-the-art building.  We provide specialist, high quality technical and academic education for 14-19 students with a strong interest in Engineering and Digital Technologies including Cyber Security. We are committed to developing our students into the Engineers and Digital Technology experts of tomorrow by working closely with our employer partners to deliver our exciting and industry-relevant curriculum.

 

We are looking to appoint a team of Invigilators who will support our external and internal examinations this year and going forwards.  The majority of exams take place during May and June though there may be opportunities to work with us at other times of the year.  Invigilators are paid on a casual basis for the hours worked.

 

We pay a living wage to Invigilators and ensure they feel like valued members of the UTC community.  We are a small school where students and staff alike feel part an ambitious and professional team.  As a result, student behaviour is excellent and standards are high.
