SGS Pegasus are looking for a HLTA behavioural 5 days a week, to monitor the implementation of the behaviour policy and share information with the behaviour lead.
We are looking for a HLTA to develop individual intervention strategies for individual children, groups or whole classes. Plan and prepare lessons, develop and prepare resources and to support children in out of school context, inline with the school policies and procedures. To provide detailed written reports on people progress such as outcomes through Thrive. Provides support and assistance for children’s pastoral needs. Maintain constructive and supportive relationships with parents and carers.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant your role will involve you assisting with general support throughout the school. You will be taking on 1:1 sessions and small groups, as well as supporting whole classes. In general, you will be supporting SEN pupils through the academic, social and emotional elements of school life. You will need to be willing to support individual students with emotional regulations. To work closely with the pastoral team and staff to support the needs of the students.
You will be expected to promote and secure high standards of teaching and learning, whilst supporting pupil achievement and progression. You will need to actively contribute to SGS Pegasus School vision, aims and objectives.
