We are looking for Receptionist to work 37 hours 5 days a week here at Pegasus School.

SGS Academy Trust and SGS Pegasus School have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Administrator. 

We are looking for Receptionist to work 37 hours 5 days a week here at Pegasus School.

SGS Pegasus School are looking for an experienced Senior administrative assistant to join our team. You will perform a variety of administrative tasks, including managing phones and emails, management of the MIS system, Single Central Records, scheduling appointments and planning administrative tasks associated to meetings and Annual Reviews. You will also be responsible for the day to day financial systems within the school. (Training will be available) For this position, you should be able to use your organisational skills to manage the school office space, your staff team and your time. You should also have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ultimately, you should be able to support our Headteacher ensuring our day-to-day office operations run smoothly.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Support the Headteacher and senior staff with daily clerical tasks
  • Provide general clerical/administrative support, including photocopying, other reprographics, completing standard forms, responding to routine correspondence and laminating
  • Ensure the smooth running of the office, maintaining up to date computer-based and manual filing systems
  • To work in conjunction with The Trust’s HR team to provide HR support for the school.
  • To work in conjunction with The Trust’s Finance team to provide Finance support for the school

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

  • A qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy equivalent to at least level 2 of the National Vocational Qualifications framework
  • Previous experience of administrative work within a school/college environment
  • Experience of and understanding of EHCPs
  • Excellent working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint
