Salary: SGSAT Pay Scale up to £46,527.00 (upper pay scale point 3) +TLR £3,216

Contract Term: Permanent: 0.6 FTE

Berkeley Green UTC is seeking to appoint a confident, highly skilled and personable Lead Teacher of PSHE to join our friendly, enthusiastic and dedicated team.

Berkeley Green UTC opened in September 2017 with outstanding facilities, in a state-of-the-art building. We provide specialist, high quality technical and academic education for 14-19 students with a strong interest in Engineering and Digital Technologies including Cyber Security. Our mission at the UTC is to create highly knowledgeable and skilled young people to work in Gloucestershire and beyond in our specialist areas, but to make this happen our students need a fantastic knowledge of the wider world. PSHE plays a vital role within our personal development curriculum, and this role will oversee the successful planning and implementation of this vital part of our student’s development.

The successful candidate with lead the planning and delivery of the PSHE curriculum at key stage 4 and key stage 5 to ensure that all required content is being delivered, and to shape the curriculum to meet the needs of our highly technical student body.
