We are seeking a dedicated, and highly effective Learning Mentor to support a SEND student. This role will focus on improving the reading, literacy and numeracy of students to age appropriate levels.

Full Time Equivalent Salary Range: £19,578 – £22,095 pro rata per annum
*Based on Contract Type & Hours (Salary is dependent on level of qualification and experience)
Contract Type: Fixed Term (to end of Academic Year), Part Time and Term-Time Only
Term Time Only Contracts will occur a salary adjustment if the start date is after 1st September
Hours: 27.5 hours per week

SGS Forest High School has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Mentor to join our small
team.
We are seeking a dedicated, and highly effective Learning Mentor to support a SEND
student. This role will focus on improving the reading, literacy and numeracy of students
to age appropriate levels.
The successful candidate will help the student develop organisational skills and become
a more effective independent learner. You will also be aware of the student’s individual
needs and appropriate strategies for addressing them.
