Salary Range: Up to £6,103.12 pro rata per annum (Based on Full-Time Equivalent range of up to £19,578)
(Salary is dependent on level of qualification and experience)

Term Time Only Contracts will occur a salary adjustment if the start date is after 1st September.

Contract Type: Term-Time Only & Fixed-Term until 31 August 2022.

Hours: 13.5 hours per week & 39 weeks per year.

SGS Academy Trust and The Forest High School have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Mentor to join our team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Focus on improving the reading, literacy and numeracy of students to age appropriate level
  • Help students to develop organisational skills and become more effective, independent learners
  • Maintain awareness of student’s individual needs and appropriate strategies for addressing them

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

  • Dedicated & highly effective in supporting SEND students
  • Learning Mentor Level 2 or Level 3 qualified
  • Ability to respond to individual needs by modifying and adapting strategies and resources
