Actual Salary Range: Up to £18,656.09 pro rata per annum
*Based on Contract Type & Hours
(Salary is dependent on level of qualification and experience)
Term Time Only Contracts will occur a salary adjustment if the start date is after 1st September
Contract Type: Fixed-term until 31st August 2020
Hours: Up to 37 hours per week and 39 working weeks per year

SGS Pegasus School are seeking a specialist Autism Learning Support Assistant who can inspire our Primary & Secondary pupils, work closely with families and be part of the SGS Pegasus team. We are looking to appoint an outstanding candidate with awareness and experience of supporting pupils with SEN. Qualifications related to Special Educational Needs are desirable.
Our Learning Support Assistants (LSA) are employed from 8.30am – 4.30pm with a 30-minute lunch break. To ensure continuity for our pupils, LSAs are part of a rota for playground and lunch duties. We will ensure you receive the support and breaks you need during the day but we are looking for LSAs who are flexible to fulfil a variety of roles throughout the school day. We offer a comprehensive training programme to develop our LSAs skills and knowledge.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working with autism and/or SEMH.
