Our FOREST values of Friendship, Organised, Respectful, Engaged, Sustainable and Teamwork sit at the heart of our culture and the way we work with our students, families and each other.

What you’ll do

· Co-lead the school’s Alternative Provision, creating a calm, structured and purposeful environment that supports successful learning and reintegration into mainstream education.

· Coordinate and oversee the school’s detention system, ensuring processes are consistent, fair and effective.

· Monitor behaviour data, identify emerging trends and use this information to help shape targeted interventions.

· Build strong partnerships with Heads of Year, teachers, tutors, the SEND team, families and external agencies to support students’ individual needs.

· Deliver mentoring and intervention programmes that help students develop confidence, resilience, positive behaviours and engagement with learning.

· Support the school’s safeguarding provision as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL).

· Skilled at building positive, professional relationships with students, families, colleagues and external partners.

· Compassionate, approachable and resilient, with the ability to maintain high expectations and clear boundaries.

· Confident supporting students who may face challenges relating to behaviour, attendance, wellbeing or engagement.

· Committed to safeguarding, inclusion and ensuring every student feels valued, supported and able to succeed.

· An excellent communicator who remains calm, organised and effective in a busy school environment.

Why join us

· Be part of a school that is ambitious for every student and committed to excellence in pastoral care and inclusion.

· Play a key role in shaping positive outcomes for young people and helping remove barriers to learning.

· Work within a supportive and collaborative team that values strong relationships, high standards and continuous improvement.
