We are looking to appoint an inspiring and engaging Maths Teacher to join our Team at SGS Pegasus. The successful candidate will teach Maths across KS3 and up to KS4. They will contribute to the teaching of A Level Maths and Core Maths if appropriate.

Salary Range: up to £41,610.00 per annum

 (Salary is dependent on level of qualification and experience)

Contract Type: Full-Time & Fixed-Term until 31 August 2022

Hours: 37 hours per week

SGS Academy Trust and SGS Pegasus School have an exciting opportunity for a Secondary Subject Maths Specialist Teacher.

We are looking to appoint an inspiring and engaging Maths Teacher to join our Team at SGS Pegasus.  The successful candidate will teach Maths across KS3 and up to KS4. They will contribute to the teaching of A Level Maths and Core Maths if appropriate.

We require a colleague who has:

  • A passion for their subject and the ability to link learning to the real world;
  • An adaptable and resilient teaching style in order to engage our learners, all of whom are diagnosed with Autism and academically able
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to make mainstream standards accessible
  • A willingness to contribute to the wider school and engage in professional learning
