Computer Science is at the very heart of our school. Our students are highly-motivated; the vast majority take digital qualifications and our resources are second-to-none. We are an NCSC CyberFirst Gold school, one of only a handful nationally.

SGS Berkeley Green UTC opened in September 2017 with outstanding facilities, in a state-of-the-art building. We provide specialist, high quality technical and academic education for 14-19 students with a strong interest in Engineering and Digital Technologies including Cyber Security. Although we are a specialist centre, the core subjects are very much the foundations on which all else rests. Developing learners who are confident, fluent and creative is a priority for us. As the first University Technical College (UTC) in Gloucestershire, Berkeley Green aspires to combine outstanding academic and technical education.

South Gloucestershire and Stroud College sponsor SGS Berkeley Green UTC as part of their Multi-Academy Trust, and their size and range of expertise forms the basis of the support for schools within the Trust. For more information, please visit https://academytrust.sgscol.ac.uk/
