Salary: SGSAT Pay Scale (£26,001 – £41,610) depending upon experience

Do you want to work in a school where every student truly values their Maths education?  At Berkeley Green, we are passionate about STEM subjects.    The UTC is a great place to work with an employability focus and a professional atmosphere.  Opened in September 2017 with outstanding facilities, we provide specialist, high-quality technical and academic education for students aged 14-19 with a strong interest in Engineering and Digital Technologies, including Cyber Security.

We are committed to developing our students into the STEM experts of tomorrow by working closely with our employer partners to deliver an exciting, industry-relevant curriculum.  At the UTC we are a positive, collaborative community with a strong values-driven ethos.  Our students are highly motivated, behaviour is excellent and we enjoy strong relationships with local employers.

We are looking to appoint an inspiring and engaging Maths Teacher to join our Team.  The successful candidate will teach GCSE Maths and may contribute to the teaching of A Level Maths and Core Maths. There is the opportunity for A Level Further Maths and Level 3 Engineering Principles teaching for an appropriately experienced and qualified candidate.

We require a colleague who has:

• A passion for their subject and the ability to link learning to the real world;
• A proven level of excellence in the classroom at KS4 and KS5 or an NQT with significant potential;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• A willingness to contribute to all aspects of UTC life.
